Everyone has known for years that Theo Walcott has talent. Since his £5 million move from Southampton way back in January 2006, he has shown glimpses of that talent and had decent spells in an Arsenal shirt.
8 games, 5 goals
There’s no doubting that Walcott’s mentality has clearly changed, but I think another big factor has aided Walcotts cause. Switching SanchezAnd that factor is Wenger's decision to switch Alexis Sanchez's position to play up front, rather than target man Olivier Giroud. Here’s what I’m talking about. Giroud is less mobile than Sanchez, and is more of a target man, needing players running off him, whereas Sanchez, as can be seen on the left diagram, always looks to run in behind the oppositions back line. This pulls defenders out of position, giving Walcott, and Ozil, more space to operate and to run into. He also adds more pace up front too, which also aids Arsenal’s counter attack. This all plays to Walcott's strengths. You can se ein the left Diagram that Sanchez's movement pulls defenders out of position, pushing them back to their own goals, creating space for Walcott to either go up 1v1 against the full back or cut inside. FPL Returns
But, for the time being, Walcott deserves the plaudits coming his way after a great start to the season.

Chelsea’s start under Antonio Conte was a good one – with three successive premier league victories. However, defeats to Arsenal and Liverpool, following a timid 2-2 draw with Swansea left many fans questioning just how much further forward Chelsea where than this time last year. However, back to back wins, recording two clean sheets, means Chelsea now sit 5th in the League. And their team has looked a lot more comfortable in those last two games – the question is why? And I think the answer lies with Antonio Conte’s formation change. How they started....
The recent games....
Here are their average positions against Hull. What about FPL?
Against United, this formation will face a stern test – and we’ll know much more after the weekend as to whether it is a long-term option for Conte.
Monday night sees the return of the rivalry between Liverpool and Manchester United. With the clubs separated in the league by 2 places and 3 points, it is sure to be an exciting game. The BBC have currently got a page letting you choose the best ever combined Liverpool and United team, so I thought I’d look at something a little bit different. The team below is a combined 11 based on their form at the start of this season.
The fluidity, high press, pace and creativity of that Liverpool attack has caused problems all season for teams, who are the joint highest scorers in the division.
Your Opinions?Obviously, this is just my opinion, and again, it's based on players form at the start of the season. Let me know who you would pick in your team by commenting below.
